This marks the initial broadcast of The Poetry Intelligencer, a weekly podcast whose aim is to make great poetry more accessible and understandable. I will try and add a new post each Monday, starting with today's podcast.
As a photographer, I also aim to post photographs to accompany my poems. I have set up a flickr group at this address: http://www.flickr.com/groups/emvpix/, called "The Poetry Intelligencer." Any photographs that you have that contribute to our understanding of the poem, or your interpretation of it, are welcome.
My goal is to post a new podcast each Monday night -- so the next one is due on Monday, April 2nd. Wish me luck!
By the way, in this initial podcase I said I would provide a link to whatever poem we were studying. This week's poem is so short I will just type it here:
